How we work
What happens from the first conversation to the follow-up labs, what a program includes, and how the practice charges. Nothing here is a surprise at visit one.
The process
The order is the point. Measurement comes before treatment, and the physician who ordered the tests is the one who reads them with you.
The first visit is about you, not a template: sleep, energy, weight, mood, pain, performance, what has changed and when. Your history decides which tests are worth running. Nothing you do not need gets drawn.
Advanced blood work, body composition, imaging review where the problem is structural, and the cardiovascular, metabolic and hormone markers a standard workup leaves out. Drawn at the practice, or by a lab order sent to a draw site near you.
Dr. Christian reads the panel himself, against your symptoms and history, and walks you through what each result means, what it explains, and what it does not.
Hormones, peptides, regenerative therapies, therapeutic plasma exchange, nutrition, sleep and training changes: only what your biology asks for, with the risks explained before anything starts.
Labs and function are re-measured as treatment settles. The plan changes with what your body is actually doing, and it stays with you over years rather than visits.
Programs and pricing
Programs at Aether Medicine are cash-based. Some lab work may be covered by your insurance, and we provide documentation for HSA and FSA reimbursement where applicable.
The cost of your program is explained before anything is committed, at the first visit, once we know what your evaluation actually calls for.
Fatigue, weight and strength going the wrong way, low libido, hot flashes, broken sleep, a flat mood.
People who already know a basic physical is not enough and want the full picture, read together.
Athletes who have done the work and plateaued anyway; teams and athletic departments.
Joint, tendon and chronic pain; injuries that will not finish healing; people weighing surgery.
Most regenerative protocols are a series; the number of sessions depends on the condition.
About this programSelected patients whose evaluation makes the case. Never a first step.
Program fees depend on what your evaluation calls for, which is why they are set at the first visit rather than listed as a menu. Ask, and you will get a straight answer.
Telehealth Available
Hormone and metabolic care is mostly conversation, laboratory work and adjustment over time. All three travel well. Patients across Pennsylvania do this with us on video, with their blood drawn close to home.
Where this is available. Dr. Christian is licensed in Pennsylvania, so telehealth is available to patients who are in Pennsylvania at the time of the visit. If you are elsewhere, the office in the Philadelphia area sees patients in person.
Your history, your symptoms and what you want to change, with the physician rather than an intake form.
We send the order to a draw site close to home. You do not travel for a blood test.
We go through the panel on screen, and you leave with the plan written down rather than a portal message.
Re-testing and adjustments happen on the same schedule they would in the office.
