How far your rehabilitation has come and what is still lagging, in a report written for you and your treating team. Not a return-to-play clearance on its own.

- Read by Dr. Christian
- HSA and FSA documentation provided
What is included
For athletes progressing after injury or rehabilitation.
- Physician musculoskeletal evaluation
- VALD strength and functional testing
- Relevant grip or lower-extremity measures
- InBody body composition
- A structured report for you and your treating rehabilitation team
Your visit, step by step
What happens, in order, and how long each part takes.
Standardized on every device, so the next test is comparable. You pay at your visit.
Online intake and readiness screening
10 to 15 minutes, before your visit
A short health, exercise and injury-history screen with our concierge. If anything needs clinical clearance first, we tell you here.
Physician musculoskeletal evaluation
With Dr. Christian
A hands-on examination of the injured area and the chain around it, before any testing is interpreted.
InBody and grip
15 minutes
Body composition on the InBody, then three grip trials per hand on the Jamar, with the same posture and handle setting every time.
Force plates
20 to 30 minutes
A standardized warm-up, then three valid maximal countermovement jumps on the VALD ForceDecks, plus isometric efforts at fixed joint angles where available.
Physician interpretation
20 to 60 minutes, depending on the package
Dr. Christian reads your numbers against your history, your sport and what you asked for. Medical risk and anything clinically significant come first.
Your report and next steps
10 to 15 minutes
Our performance coordinator walks you through the report and books what comes next.
Good to know
Before you request this package.
- This is not a stand-alone return-to-play clearance. The report informs the decision your treating team makes with you.
- Dr. Christian is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; the evaluation is a medical examination, not only a testing session.
- Testing is not a diagnosis. Testing-only services provide standardized measurements and reports; a full diagnostic medical evaluation is a separate service.
- Nothing here is medical advice. Reading this page does not create a physician-patient relationship.
When in my rehab should I do this?
Usually once you are cleared by your treating clinician for maximal efforts, and again later to document progress. If you are unsure, tell us where you are and we will advise on the screening call.
Will you talk to my physical therapist?
With your consent, yes. The report is written for the treating team, and coordination is part of the point.
Why can I not pay online?
Because exercise testing needs a screening first. Send a request, and we reach out within one business day to confirm the package, run a short health and injury-history screen, and schedule you. You pay at your visit.
